Finally - signed copy of book available

It took some doing, but I finally found a way to offer a signed copy of my book, "The Devil Made Me Do It" without having to have it mailed to me after it's mailed to the customer and then mailing it back. Waaaaay too much packaging and postage. The offer is only available at the Lulu "store." (Amazon and the other on-line book stores simply have no way to arrange this.)
So - if you've been waiting for this option, click here and have a look.
Now that the book has been officially accepted by the Bowker listing service, it can be ordered at your neighborhood bookstore as well. But then, you'd have to mail it to me to get it signed.
I will be doing a limited number of book signings - primarily in L.A. because I hate to travel. I used to love it. Especially train trips. But that was way back when the forks were silver and the water was served in crystal. Sigh. As the dates are confirmed, I'll post the info here.
I've been getting a lot of email from fans and friends and - so far - I've been able to keep up with replies. If anyone out there wants to contact me about booking a signing/reading or whatever, do drop me a line to georginasworld@gmail.com.

Lulu interview

Just did an interview with my publisher - if interested click this link

Larry Mantle All Talk KCPP 89.3 FM Interview

Well, I lied. The interview will NOT air on July 4th, as originally scheduled. They decided to hold it for later use because "NOBODY listens to the radio on the Fourth of July." per Mr. Mantle - and he wants my book to get as much exposure as possible. Now is that a Prince, or what? AND - he read the book and LOVES it. Says it really surprised him - not just because it's well-written - but because it addresses so many issues dear to his ultra-liberal heart. That is, beyond the expected "Freedom of Speech" arguments.
So, check here now and again, and as soon as I know when the thing will air, it will be posted.

Larry Mantle All Talk KCPP 89.3 FM Interview

Be still my heart - Larry Mantle has invited me to visit his All Talk show for an interview that will air The Fourth of July between 10 and 12 noon. You can check him out at the KCPP site - just click here.
I'm so excited. I hope I don't get all tongue tied. , if you get a chance to listen, email me at georginasworld@gmail.com and let me know what you think
He actually asked for a copy of my book to read. What if he hates it? He wouldn't actually say so on the air ----- would he?

RED ALERT - WRONG ZIP CODE IN CONTACT INFO

Holy typo, Batman! I can't believe I did this. But I did. The zip code on my contact information has been WRONG all this time. My address for receiving packages is:
Georgina Spelvin
PO Box 3170
Los Angeles, CA 90078
It was my fault - not my wonderful web designer who took the info from me.
Please forgive me - and please do get in touch.
No wonder I haven't been getting any books to sign! I thought everybody hated me.

Golly Gee, You Guys

A big smooch and thanks to everyone who's gone to http://stores.lulu.com/spelvin and previewed my book, and heart-felt thanks them as BOUGHT it. It's up on Amazon now. And Barns and Nobel and some others - I can't keep up with 'em. Anyway - the "Official Release Date" is not 'til July 1st so if you want to get in the Luu line early back up to the home page and click on Books. That'll take you right to the "store." You know? I think I'm gettin' the hang of this. At least I haven't crashed the thing yet today - so far.
I'll try to write more often now that the baby's sort of out on its own. (Gulp.)

ALERT THE MEDIA

The Devil Made Me Do It - my memoir - is finally available to the public.
The BOOKS button on my home page will take you to the Lulu "store" where you can preview it by clicking on the book title.
I'm gonna take a nap now.
